BCF Confection, 4 generations, 60 years of experience

founding and future of our company

About BCF Confection

In 1954 great-grandmother Germaine De Dier started manufacturing coats and accessories in Haaltert (Belgium). The economy revived after WWII and many family-owned textile companies in East and West Flanders also benefited from this. It was the start of a thriving family business that, generation after generation, expanded and perfected its knowledge and experience.

60 years of knowledge and experience under one roof

The knowledge and experience of textile manufacturing has shifted to offshore production countries in the last twenty years. As a family-owned company, we have been passing on our knowledge from generation to generation for over 60 years. Our employees are all technically skilled in textile manufacturing and provide you with advice in all areas. Our employees are intensively trained and supported.

Our commitment: high-quality and sustainable textiles are the standard

BCF Confection is committed to providing the best quality in textiles, manufactured in the best possible conditions for people and the environment.

Quality. We attach great importance to high-standard raw materials and a high-quality finishing. We make almost exclusively use of Coats yarns from Europe's leading industrial thread company providing high-quality yarns for every application, and use Juki and Brother sewing machines. With our advanced software, we draw 2D/3D patterns.

Good working conditions. In our production unit in Tunisia, we work in the spirit of the Fair Wear foundation. We offer the best possible social working conditions to all our employees and are happy to work with customers who are a member of the Fair Wear Foundation.

Environmental awareness. In each step of the production process, we pay attention to the impact of textile manufacturing on the environment. All our raw materials are OEKO-TEX® certified: the manufactured fabrics do not contain any residues of harmful substances like pesticides or heavy metals. During production, we deal thoroughly with the water and energy consumption.

Production possibilities

As a local Belgian textile manufacturer, we are happy to share our expertise with you and advise you on the feasibility and cost of your projects. We manufacture your textile design through the process of cut, make and trim (CMT) or as ready-made garment (RMG). Flexible order quantities and short delivery deadlines are our biggest assets.
